Roof Styles Explained
Three roof options. Regular is the base price; A-frame upgrades add a modest cost. Pick by climate and aesthetics.
Regular Roof
Rounded-corner roof with horizontal panels. Cheapest option, fastest to install. Best for low-snow, low-wind regions and short structures (≤21 ft long).
A-Frame Horizontal
Boxed eaves with horizontal roof panels. Sharper aesthetic than regular; same panel orientation. Adds ~$200–$500 depending on size.
A-Frame Vertical
Boxed eaves with vertical roof panels. Sheds rain, snow, and leaves directly off the building — required for snow loads over 30 psf. Adds ~$400–$1,000.

Is delivery and installation really free?
Yes — free professional delivery and installation are included on all standard carport and garage configurations within our 48-state service area. The price you see on the product card is what you pay, plus applicable sales tax. Alaska, Hawaii, and remote rural sites are quoted individually.
What gauge steel do you use?
Standard frames use 14-gauge galvanized square tubing. The 12-gauge frame upgrade is available on every model — recommended for high-wind, high-snow, or coastal-corrosion zones. Roof and side panels are 29-gauge factory-painted steel; 26-gauge is available as an upgrade.
Why do prices show a range?
Pricing varies by ZIP code because of regional engineering requirements (snow load, wind load, seismic zone) and freight distance from the nearest factory. The lower number is the base price; the higher number reflects the most heavily certified region. We give you the exact number for your ZIP at quote time.
How fast can I get one?
Most standard carports ship and install in 2–4 weeks from order. Larger enclosed garages typically run 4–6 weeks. Custom colors or non-stock configurations may add 1–2 weeks. We confirm a firm install window at quote time.
What anchors are included?
Free anchors are included for concrete (wedge anchors), asphalt (asphalt anchors), and dirt/gravel (rebar/mobile-home anchors). You tell us your surface at quote time and we ship the right hardware. Concrete is recommended for any enclosed garage.
Can I customize the size or doors?
Yes. Every model is built to order. Width up to 30 ft, length up to 51 ft in 5-ft increments, eave height up to 16 ft. Add roll-up garage doors (8'–14' wide), walk-in doors, windows, gables, and wainscot. We'll quote any combination.
